The bees here have been drinking water from this house for so long that the pipes have gotten rusty.
I believe this is one of the main water sources that these bee's have. They come from the North and head South when they are done drinking water. In this photo the bees were drinking water at 5:20PM PST. They usually gather here every day, unless it is raining. They drink water from this hose in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. So long as there is some sunlight out, you will see them here.

I have yet to identify the species of this bird, but in this photo there are two types. The photo quality isn't great as my phone cannot take good photos, but these birds are short and stocky. There are two types one has a yellow top, light grayish belly, and sounds similar to a house sparrow's chirps. Perhaps this bird is a type of sparrow.
The other bird has a light red cap, light grayish belly with black slits, and black pointy beak. I'm not sure if this bird is a different species or if it is in the same species and it is a male or female with different characteristics. These birds coexist peacefully and I have not spotted them fighting each other or competing for food. They perch on this tree in the afternoons every day for a while now. I think these birds are native to the local area.

This is my small chilli pepper garden where there are a variety of chillies such as habanero, serrano, carolina reaper, and jalapeƱo pepper plants. About 2 weeks ago, these chillies were healthy and had a lot of foliage and peppers. Now, for the most part these plants are barren of leaves or peppers. The peppers are found laying on the floor, very shriveled and dried. Sun-riped peppers, taken to the extereme. These peppers could still be picked up, but they are no good anymore and I will let them decompose in the ground so the plant can absorb the nutrients from these peppers. These plants have already begun to sprout again and you can see that they will grow green leaves and healthy stems in the future. For the most part with this shedding of leaves, the plague of unknown insects is mainly gone. There are still some that reside, but they no longer have the hiding space available that they once had.

This is the epazote plant. This had been cut down since it was invading the driveway to the house. This plant had been left to grow so much that it was invading probably one fourth of the driveway, and at one point you just had to drive over a part of it. It got chopped down to the bare stems. The stems are so thick and the plant has begun to regrow. It is a hardy herb, and the epazote had grown old enough to bloom, it will surely do it again if given enough time and nutrients.

This is the fig tree it is growing in a big pot.
This is the fig tree leaf, but in this photo it has a issue. I am not sure what the leaf is currently suffering from. I think it is some sort of disease that hit the tree and not a pest because I do not spot any insects on this plant stems or leaves. It could be something in the dirt that could be causing this effect as some plants can have funguses that grow in the ground and actually benefit them, but in this case it could be a fungus that is harmful to the plant.I thought of that, but I don't think it is that either. The fig tree still grows and it had a couple fruits that had been late. Right now it doesn't have any fruits, but it keeps growing and old stems become more solid changing from a light green, green, dark green, eventually having bark and becoming a part of the fig tree.

These are some flowers that bloomed from a plant that is growing on the ground next to the fig tree. I am unsure what type of flower this is as my dad had planted these a while ago now. There are some small sprouts on the ground and on the cement next to the area there are some seeds that have fallen off. Some flowers have bloomed, and some have left their seeds inside the flower after it withered away. The black round seeds can be seen in the photo provided

This is the cherry orchard after it was trimmed down. There are lots of dried sticks, stems, leaves, and tree branches laying on the ground. These have been here for a couple weeks now because last time they were recently trimmed down they were green sticks, stems, leaves, laying on the ground. There are not a lot of noises that come out of the cherry orchard. There used to be some rabbits, but I have not seen them or heard them. The leaves may provide a worse place to hunt as the leaves will easily alert prey or predators of their presence. Perhaps this will drive away both prey and predators as they will not be in a environment that is best for their own needs (hunting or hiding).
